Novi devlog za Assassin’s Creed Shadows je procurio online. Uz detaljnija objašnjenja samih developera prikazane su i neke nove gameplay mogućnosti. Videouradak procurio je iz redova IGN-a točnije iz IGN China. Za pretpostaviti je isti trebao biti pušten u javnost kroz dan-dva ili čak tijekom večerašnje State of Play prezentacije.
Snimak prikazuje dinamičnost svijeta jer će se smjenjivati godišnja doba koja neće imati samo vizualni utjecaj na igru. Naime, ukoliko je recimo proljeće igrač možda neće moći proći određeni dio mape jer poplavljen dok bi u zimu lik istu površi prohodao jer je zaleđena.
Prikazan je i sustav skloništa tj. Hideout gdje možete graditi po vlastitim željama oružarnice, dojo, svetište itd. Svaka građevina moći će se prilagoditi i odabrati točna pozicija na zemljištu. Igrač će moći urediti i unutrašnje uređenje same građevine.
