Fortnite Reload novi je gamemode u igri koji vraća klasično oružje, klasične lokacije na potpuno novu mapu za 40 igrača.
Novi gamemode namijenjen je za 10 timova odnosno za 40 igrača. Mapa je znatno manja, ali ima svima dobro poznate lokacije kao što su Tilted Towers i Retail Row. Također postoje dvije pod vrste gamemodea, a to su Battle Royale i Zero Build.
Dokle god neko od vaših suigrača živ aktivira se timer od 30 do 40 sekundi ovisno o fazi meča. Kada timer otkuca 0 ponovno se stvarate. Preživjeli suborci mogu ubrzati vaše oživljenje time što će ubijati protivnike. Time se igrači tjeraju na agresivniji pristup meču. U završnoj fazi meča reboot neće biti dostupan pa tako morate uvijek voditi brigu da vas je što više živo.
Ljudi su nakon Fortntie OG sezone jedva čekali priliku da se ponovno druže s poznatim arsenalom oružja. Odma po izlasu gamemodea dobili smo: Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Bolt-Action Sniper, Grappler, Rocket Launcher i drugo poznato oružje.
Za još veću dinamiku prilik reboota stvarate se ne s pištoljem već s Assault puškom najlošijim karakteristikama i 100 drveta ukoliko igrate build mod. Svakim ubojstvom osim onoga što je protivnik imao u svom posjedujete dobijate male shield napitke, medium, light i shotgun municiju, a ako igrate build onda po 50 od svakog materijala.
Posebne nagrade rezervirane su za sve koji će se okušati u novom gamemodeu. Za one najbolje biti će tu i novi The Rezzbrella Glider odnosno kišobran.
