Mnogi manageri rekli su kako bi bilo sjajno da dobijemo season update za Fotball Manager 24 i ekipa iz Sports Interactiva zaista se uhvatila te ideje, ali kako kažu prije svega zbog pravnih razloga to neće biti moguće. Naime, licence su se mijenjale i ne mogu prenijeti licence koje su namijenjene novoj igri na aktualnu. Također problem je prilagodba materijala s nove igre na FM24 što bi dodatno oduzelo vrijeme developerima za dovršavanje Football Managera 25 što bi moglo rezultirati još jednom, a vjerujem i finalnom odgodom.
