Loše vijesti za sve fanove The Last of Us serije, jer druga sezona će imati manje epizoda od prve! Craig Mazin i Neil Druckmann su potvrdili kako će druga sezona imati sedam epizoda, što znači čak dvije epizode manje nego prethodne sezone. Utjeha gledateljima je činjenica da će epizode biti dosta duže, odnosno kako navodi redateljski i producentski tandem koji stoji iza ove serije, sve bi trebale biti duže od sat vremena.
Mazin i Druckmann su poručili kako od svake epizode žele napraviti blockbuster. Kao što smo i očekivali, a dobili smo i potvrdu već prije, druga sezona će prikazati događaje iz The Last of Us Part II. No, priča ove igre u seriji će biti podijeljena na više sezone. Dalo bi se zaključiti kako ćemo imati minimalno još jednu sezonu (treću), ako ne i više njih. Tandem koji stoji iza The Last of Us serije je potvrdio i kako bi treća sezone mogla biti puno veća od prve i druge.
Zanimljivo je kako HBO još nije odobrio treću sezonu serije, ali mislim kako ćemo uskoro dobiti službeno odobrenje. Bila bi ludost ne odobriti takav projekt, s obzirom na uspjeh prve sezone. The Last of Us sezona dva nam dolazi negdje 2025. godine.
