Sinoć je u State of Play prezentaciji demonstrirano nekoliko segmenata u Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Doznali smo točan broj odijela koja ćemo moći koristiti, te da će sporedne aktivnosti biti vizualizirane unutar svijeta. Odnosno nećemo ih moći naći samo na mini mapi već i dok se budemo njihali kroz ulice New Yorka.
Što se odijela tiče, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 donosi nam čak duplo više odijela u usporedbi sa svojim prethodnikom. Iz Insomniac Gamesa su potvrdili brojku od 65 odijela u ovom naslov. Neka od njih, točnije njih deset, će biti rezervirano za vlasnike Digital Deluxe izdanja. No, čak i kada oduzmemo tih 10, svim igračima će biti dostupno čak 55 odijela. Neka od njih će imati svoje varijacije jer ćemo moći mijenjati boje. Također je potvrđeno da su odijela rađena po uzoru na filmove, stripove, dosadašnje igre, a nekoliko ih je kreacija developera.
Fanove je najviše oduševilo brzo prebacivanje između likova koje je odrađeno bez ikakve pauze za učitavanje. Cijela igre izgleda dosta brzo, tako da je vrlo važno da nema nepotrebnih loading screenova. Za vrijeme prebacivanja između likova možemo vidjeti neke simpatične scene kao što je ona iz trailera u kojoj Peter radi trbušnjake na zgradi.
