Da, Dead Island 2 je još jednom odgođen, no srećom radi se o kraćoj odgodi. Stoga ćemo ovu zombie akciju umjesto 3. veljače zaigrati od 28. travnja iduće godine – naravno pod uvjetom da se još nešto dodatno ne iskomplicira pa igra bude još jednom odgođena.
Kao razlog odgode, iz Dambuster Studiosa su naveli dodatno vrijeme koje im je potrebno za finalno poliranje i optimiziaciju igre, koja je već sad u finalnoj fazi razvoja. No, kako nebi sve bilo tako crno, dobili smo i potvrdu kako ćemo novi trailer i gameplay demonstraciju vidjeti tijekom posebnog Dead Island 2 Showcasea, koji je najavljen za 6. prosinac.
