Developeri Studio Wildcard su odlučili igri ARK privremeno ugasiti crossplay zbog previše čitera koji igraju preko PC-a.
Nažalost od samog početka gaminga smo upoznati s izrazom “cheater”, odnosno ljudi koji varaju uz pomoć dodatnih skripta ili programa kako bi si olakšali gameplay u nekoj igri. ARK je tek nedavno dodao crossplay, a uz to i PvP (Player vs Player). Međutim igrači na PC-u su to iskoristili i počeli masovno varati u igri.
Došlo je do te granice da Xbox i PS igrači nisu mogli uopće u miru igrati zbog tolikog broja igrača koji vara na PC-u. Zbog toga je Studio Wildcard odlučio privremeno ugasiti crossplay za PC verziju igre, te sada traže riješenje za ovaj problem.
Jedan od mogućih rješenja je dodavanje anti-cheat sustava u igru, a to bi najvjerojatnije trebao biti Battleye anti-cheat. Ova promijena bi se već mogla dogoditi sljedećeg tjedna, tako da bi crossplay i rješenje čitera trebalo doć uskoro.
