Pomoću NFC čitača u BMW, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes i drugim vozilima od 2022. korisnici Apple uređaja mogu upravljati svojim vozilom bez ključa koristeći samo svoj pametni sat ili iPhone. Uskoro podrška dolazi u AUDI, Volvo i Polestar.
Tako će jedini brend velike njemačke trojke koji nema tu podršku ostati VW, ali s obzirom na to da je AUDI postao kompatibilan vjerujemo kako će vrlo brzo i ostali brendovi iz Volkswagen koncerna dobiti tu mogućnost. Što se tiče domaće auto industrije, Rimac i Bugatti nemaju čak ni podršku za Apple Car Play barem za sada. Vlasnici Nevere dobili su obavijest tijekom ljeta kako će softverskim ažuriranjem dobiti mogućnost povezivanja automobila s telefonom.
