Prije 4 godine iOS je napravio izmjenu u radu njihovog App Storea, te je zbog te promjene Fortnite morao biti povučen s njihove platforme. Međutim nakon pritiska Europske Unije, Apple je odlučio promjeniti uvjete poslovanja svog App Storea, te to obilježava povratak najpopularnijeg Battle Royala na iPhone uređaje.
Promjena u uvjetu rada App Storea dolazi u trećem mjesecu, tad će biti dostupno instalirati sve aplikacije koje nisu distribuirane u App Storeu. Međutim, ova promjena dolazi na iOS uređaje koji koriste samo 17.4 i novije verzije, te se odnosi samo na države unutar Europske Unije.
