Youtube je zato u Youtube Music implementirao sleep timer, poput onoga na televizorima. Ukoliko aplikacija ne zabilježi aktivnost korisnika nakon nekog vremena isključiti će se.
Očigledno je ekipa iz Youtubea mislila da ljudi jedino mogu zaspati uz glazbu pa do sada nisu implementirali istu funkciju u pravi Youtube. Trenutno je navedena značajka u fazi testiranja, a postupno će biti dostupna svim korisnicima Android uređaja.
Za iOS se ništa ne spominje, ali nema ni potrebe jer on ima implementiranu takvu funkciju u sam sustav.
