Wrath of Onryō je hack-and-slash akcijska avantura smještena u mračnoj, gotičkoj verziji Japana iz Sengoku ere. Igrač preuzima ulogu ratnice Yuri, posljednje iz svoje loze, koja se suočava s demonskim silama koje vodi Zarok kako bi osvetila obitelj. S dinamičnim borbenim stilom, jezovitim okruženjima i pričom ispunjenom osvetom, igra će pružiti intenzivno i emotivno iskustvo u svijetu prožetom tamom.
Developer je tijekom razvoja bio inspiriran najboljim igrama iz žanra kao što su Devil May Cry 5, Ninja Gaiden i Sekiro. Sama igra sadržavat će tri poglavlja prepuna borbi s raznim izazovnim neprijateljima na različitim lokacijama (drevni hramovi, napuštena sela i jezive šume).
