CD Projekt RED trenutno “kuha” i rade na čak šest različitih projekata, među kojima je i nova Witcher igra. Od trenutka kada je razvoj Cyberpunka 2077, CD Projekt RED je odmah prebacio velik dio radnika na projekt kodnog imena Polaris, inače novi Witcher. Najnovije izvješće CD Projekta navodi kako je trenutan broj radnika na projektu Polaris 403. Nastavak Cyberpunka 2077 se također sprema i na tom projektu radi 47 ljudi, dok na potpuno novom serijalu radi 20 radnika.
Projekt Polaris, odnosno Witcher je za sada misterij. Znamo samo kako će novi Witcher zapravo biti trilogija i kako sugeriraju insajderi ne bi trebao biti povezan s Geraltovim avanturama. Također, ovaj Witcher, za razliku od prijašnjih, bit će rađen u Unreal Engine 5. CD Projekt RED priprema i spin-off igru u svijetu Witchera i preradu prvog Witchera iz 2007. godine.
