Izgleda da se Valve ponovno okušava u svijetu konzola, što je logično s obzirom na uspjeh koji je ostvario Steam Deck. Ovoga puta predstavili su svoju konzolu koja bi mogla biti ozbiljan konkurent drugim konzolama na tržištu. Njihov Steam Machine izgleda kao ozbiljna priča, a riječ je o malom PC kućištu dizajniranom da stane ispod vašeg monitora ili televizora. Ono što bi mogao biti jedan od najhvaljenijih stvari na Steam Machineu je tišina – uređaj je gotovo nečujan.

Uz uređaj stiže i nova generacija Steam Controllera, koji izgleda kao križanac starog modela i kontrolera sa Steam Decka. Ima dva velika touchpada koji mogu zamijeniti miš u igrama bez podrške za kontroler, četiri stražnje tipke, kao i analogne palice bez drifta (TMR tehnologija). Punjenje ide preko posebnog priključka ili USB-a, a kontroler će se moći kupiti i odvojeno, s podrškom za sve uređaje s Bluetoothom.
Steam Machine i Steam Controller trebali bi stići početkom 2026. godine, no cijena još nije poznata. Iako Valve zasad šuti o točnim detaljima, jasno je da tvrtka ima ozbiljnu namjeru ponovno ući u naše dnevne boravke (ali, u pozitivnom smislu). Vjerujem kako će Steam Machine imati veliku podršku Steam zajednice, s obzirom na to da je većina bila oduševljena Steam Deckom.
