Prema novim glasinama koje kruže internetom, TT Games priprema potpuno novu LEGO Batman igru koja će biti oblikovana po uzoru na popularni LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Igra bi, navodno, trebala stići na proljeće 2026. godine, a ako je vjerovati informacijama, donijet će jednu veliku otvorenu Gotham mapu i mogućnost biranja ere u kojoj ćete igrati.
Izvor glasina, LEGO Game News na X-u, tvrdi da će novi LEGO Batman pokrivati više različitih filmova, no neće biti povezan s originalnom LEGO Batman trilogijom. Koncept je sličan Skywalker Sagi, koja je igračima omogućila da odaberu odakle žele započeti avanturu i istražuju brojne lokacije iz cijele filmske sage. Ovdje bi umjesto galaksija i planeta imali Gotham City kao centralnu lokaciju, uz mogućnost odabira vremenskog razdoblja. To bi moglo značiti da ćemo imati prelazak iz mračnog Burtonovog Gothama u šaroliki stil iz 60-ih ili pak noviju, moderniju i realističniju verziju grada. Osim vijesti o LEGO Batmanu, isti izvor tvrdi da su neki drugi LEGO projekti otkazani, uključujući LEGO Disney, LEGO Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy te “Skywalker Saga” verziju LEGO Harry Pottera, koja navodno nije prošla najraniju fazu testiranja.
Ako je vjerovati glasinama, najava igre mogla bi stići već na Gamescom Opening Night Live prezentaciji 2025. godine. TT Games zasad nije službeno komentirao ove informacije, pa sve treba uzeti s dozom rezerve. Potvrdi li se da je nova LEGO Batman igra uistinu u razvoju, to bi moglo značiti da se LEGO superherojske igre vraćaju. Što bi nekako bio i logičan potez TT Gamesa, s obzirom na veliki uspjeh LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sage.
