Capcom je tijekom State of Playa objavio novi trailer za Onimusha: Way of the Sword u kojem igrači upoznaju novog protagonista. Od prije se već znalo kako Samanosuke Akechi, protagonist iz prijašnjih Onimusha igara, nažalost neće vratiti u Capcomovom oživljavanju serijala, a sada konačno znamo tko je njegova zamjena.
Novi protagonist će se zvati Miyamoto Musashi. Riječ je o samuraju koji dolazi u Kyoto kako bi se dokazao. No, naravno ne ide sve po Musahijeovm planu, pa će tako imati puno prepreka. Novom protagonistu će glas posuditi Kenichiro Thomson, a njegov izgled je rađen po pokojnom japanskom glumcu Toshiru Mifuneu. Inače, pokojni Toshiru je poznat po svojim ulogama samuraja u starijim filmovima.
Osim što smo se upoznali s novim protagonistom, iz Capcoma su nas odlučili počastiti malo detaljnijim gameplay prikazom. Trailer je prikazao kako će okolina igrati veliku ulogu u samom gameplayu Onimusha: Way of the Sworda. Pa ćemo tako moći neprijatelje umotati u tkaninu, prevrnuti stol pa ga nogom lansirati ka našim neprijateljima i još mnogo toga. Onimusha: Way of the Sword igramo 2026. godine.
