Iz Ubisoft Bordeaux poručuju kako ne planiraju napraviti DLC ili post-launch sadržaj za nadolazeći Assassin’s Creed Mirage, barem ne u ovom trenutku. Mirage je najavljen prošle godine na Ubisoft Forwardu i fokusira se na Basima, uličnog lopova koji postaje ubojica u Bagdadu. Ubisoft je potvrdio da će Mirage omogućiti igračima da istraže stvarnu povijest Bagdada, a veličina njegove mape neće biti ni blizu velika kao u prethodnim Assassin’s Creed igrama.
Nedavno su iz Ubisofta najavili partnerstvo s tvrtkom OWO kako bi se stvorilo odijelo za igranje s povratnom spregom koja će igračima omogućiti da fizički osjete akciju koju Basim proživljava na ulicama Bagdada. Fanovi AC serijala mogu mirno spavati i bez DLC-ova (za sada) za Mirage, jer Ubisoft ima još jako puno drugih projekata. Sigurno nas je dodatno razveselila vijest kako će Ubisoft uložiti još više resursa u ovu franšizu. Pored svih naslova iz ove franšize koji će biti igriv na PC-ju i konzolama, najavljena je mobilna igra i Nexus VR, prvu igru virtualne stvarnosti u seriji.
Dakle, potencijalni izostanak DLC-a ili post-launcha za nadolazeći Assassin’s Creed Mirage nije toliko strašan kako vam se možda činio u početku. Gotovo je sigurno da će se nakon izlaska Mirage sav fokus prebaciti na Codename Red, koji je smješten u feudalnom Japanu.
