Ubisoft se igra s našim osjećajima još od davne 2013. godine kada je Splinter Cell: Blacklist izašao. Od tada pa sve do 2021. godine nismo znali apsolutno ništa o budućnosti ovog serijala. Ubisoft je 2021. potvrdio razvoj novog Splinter Cella i fanovi serijala su poludjeli. No, sada je Ubisoft Toronto napravio nešto što je fanovima dalo veliku nadu. Naime, na njihovom X profilu možete pronaći novu naslovnu fotografiju. Fotografija vrlo vjerojatno prikazuje Sama Fishera sa svojim prepoznatljivim night vision naočalama. Vjerojatno je riječ o remakeu originala iz 2002. godine, a što se izlaska tiče, moguće je da ćemo isti zaigrati već 2025. godine.
Treba napomenuti kako im je i profilna slika u zeleno-crnoj kombinaciji, istoj onoj koju svi vežemo uz Splinter Cell serijal. Ono što sada svi priželjkuju je najava novog Splinter Cella, a Ubisoft će imati priliku ostvariti nam želju već 10.06. Tada će se održati Ubisoft Forward prezentacija koja bi mogla biti krcata udarnim naslovima. E sada, skoro pa smo 100% sigurni kako nas na ovogodišnjem Ubisoft Forwardu očekuje najava za Splinter Cell, Assassin’s Creed Red i Star Wars: Outlaws.
