Jučer se održalo finale IEM Katowice u kojem su se za prestižni trofej borili FaZe i Spirit, Spirit je “pregazio” FaZe i digao trofej.
Spiritu je ovo bilo prvo finale Katowica i pritisak ih uopće nije pojeo, jer su protiv moćnog FaZea pobjedili 3-0. Kroz cijeli turnir Spirit je izgubio samo JEDNU mapu i to protiv Na’Vi-a u grupnoj fazi. MVP turnira je naravno Danil “donk” Krsyhkovets.
O donku se priča svuda trenutno, jer se pojavio “odnikud” i sa 17 godina postao je najmlađi osvajač Katowica i najmlađi MVP. U 12 mapa imao je HLTV Rating od 1.70 čime je postao najbolji MVP ikada u povijesti IEM Katowice turnira. Prestigao je i svog idola Nikolu “NiKo” Kovača koji je držao rekord 1.70 još 2017. na ESL One New Yorku.
Donk je prošle godine nastupao u akademiji Spirita, a poziv u seniorsku ekipu dobio je zbog jako dobrih partija na FPL-u. Međutim ovako što nitko nije očekivao, te sada svi igrači, analitičari, veterani itd. govore o njemu i njegovom neprocjenjivom potencijalu. Jedinu kritiku dobija zbog svog nesportskog ponašanja koje ponekad ne može kontrolirat, no još je mlad te s treningom i vremenom bi se trebao “smiriti”.
