Ljubitelji Dying Light serijala morat će se još malo strpjeti, Techland je službeno potvrdio kako će nadolazeći Dying Light: The Beast ipak izaći nešto kasnije nego što je prvotno planirano. Umjesto 21. kolovoza, novi nastavak popularne parkour zombie franšize stiže 19. rujna 2025. godine za PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S i PC.
Razlog za ovu. relativno kratku, odgodu je, prema riječima razvojnog tima, dodatno vrijeme za finu prilagodbu i završno poliranje igre. Iz Techlanda poručuju kako su ozbiljno shvatili povratne informacije igrača iz testiranja i komentara koje su pronašli na internetu. “Naš je cilj da Dying Light: The Beast bude najbolji Dying Light do sada. Zato smo odlučili uzeti dodatna četiri tjedna kako bismo doradili ključne detalje koji prave razliku između ‘dobrog’ i ‘odličnog'”, stoji u službenom priopćenju.
Tim će se fokusirati na balansiranje gameplay elemenata, bolju preglednost korisničkog sučelja, poboljšanja fizike, te dodatna podešavanja animacija u cutscenama i tijekom igranja. Podsjećamo, The Beast će biti znatno ambiciozniji projekt, Techland ga interno tretira kao Dying Light 3, iako službeni naziv još uvijek nosi podnaslov.
