Osim Golden Joystick Awards završila je i dodjela za esport timove i igrače godine. The Esports Awards tako je proglasio arapski Team Falcons najboljom organizacjiom u protekloj godini.
Ništa tu nebi bilo sporno da Team Falcons nije podržan od strane vlade Saudijske Arabije čiji je investicijski fond i Savvy Games Grupacija vlasnik ESL FACEIT-a, inače organizatora The Esport Awardsa. Nije ni čudno što je zajednica počela blatit i jedne i druge po drušvenim mrežama.
Naravno nitko ne bi imao ništa protiv da je Team Falcons zaslužio tu nagradu, ali ova godina i nije bila njihova najbolja. Usprkos neograničenim resursima koje posjeduju njihova rastrošna politika nije im donijela pregršt trofeja. Dota 2 projekt su započeli krajem 2023. godine kada su potpisali nekoliko zvučnih imena što im je u konačnici donijelo tek 4. mjesto na The Internationalsu, najvećem Dota 2 turniru.
Ako ćemo ići na drugu stranu MOBA igara zapravo dolazimo u slijepu ulicu jer League of Legends tim nemaju. Counter Strike 2 godinu zaključili su ranije nego ostali jer se nisu izborili za svoje mjesto na Perfect World Shanghai Majoru.
Svi ovi “uspjesi” na koncu su im osigurali naslov najbolje esport organizacije na svijetu.
