DOOM: The Dark Ages bit će najavljen na Xbox Games Showcaseu, a postoji mogućnost da ovaj naslov zaigramo na “petici”. Tom Henderson, poznati i pouzdani leaker, otkrio je nekoliko zanimljivih informacija o ovom naslovu. Naime, najava ove igre je manje-više gotova i spremna za javnost, no imat ćemo ju priliku vidjeti tek na Xbox Games Showcaseu.
Druga informacija je vezana za sam naziv igre. DOOM: Year Zero je zapravo bi kodni naziv za ovaj naslov, dok je pravi naslov igre DOOM: The Dark Ages. Henderson dodaje kako je igra u razvoju pune četiri godine, a po nazivu igre, postoji mogućnost da se pronađemo u srednjovjekovnom okruženju. No, to za sada nije potvrđeno, više je nagađanje od strane fanova serijala.
DOOM: The Dark Ages neće biti Xbox ekskluziva, već bismo ovaj naslov trebali zaigrati i na PlayStation 5. Osim toga, DOOM: The Dark Ages će biti dostupan na Xbox Series konzolama, te na PC-ju. Puno više detalja o ovom naslovu dobit ćemo 9. lipnja za kada je zakazan Xbox Games Showcase.
