Developer Stardew Valleya, Eric Barone, je poručio kako će u sklopu sljedećeg ažuriranja igra dobiti nešto novog sadržaja, iako je ista stara sedam godina. No, ovoj igri godine ne stvaraju problem, te je tako i danas poprilično popularna.
Igra je zapravo simulacija života na farmi, a treba reći kako je igra dosegla 20 milijuna igrača. Na Steamu ju svakodnevno igra više od 50 tisuća ljudi, što su poprilično ozbiljne brojke za igru staru sedam godina. Svi su mislili kako igra više nema podršku developera jer je zadnji update izašao davne 2020. godine. Barem su tako svi mislili do jučer, ali nas je onda Eric Barone iznenadio i najavio verziju 1.6 igre.
Osim činjenice da će 1.6 verzija igra najviše odgovarati moderima, nemamo ni jedan drugi detalj vezan za ovaj update. Barone nam je poručio kako update neće biti velik kao prethodni koji je donio novu regiju, predmete i igranje u lokalnom multiplayeru.
