Razvoj Splinter Cell Remake koji se krije iza tajnog imena North kojeg razvija Ubisoft Toronto. Igra nije otkazana kako su neki špekulirali, već je i dalje u razvoju, a uskoro bi mogli dobiti i nove službene informacije.
Originalna igra izrađena je na Unreal Engineu 2, a Remake biti će oslonjen na Snowdrop Engine koji pokreće Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, The Division 2 i ozloglašeni Star Wars Outlaws. Sjetimo se ovaj remake najavljen je još 2021. godine, a tada su developeri rekli kako se cijela igra radi gotovo od nule.
Prema pisanju Insider Gaminga i njihovima izvorima Splinter Cell Remake trebali bi zaigrati tijekom 2026., ali s obzirom na stalne odgode igara i trenutnu situaciju u Ubisoftu nisu se htjeli obvezati za neki određeni vremenski period.
