The Last of Us serijal je jako važan za PlayStation. U suradnji s Naughty Dogom, Sony je razvio igru koja je oduševila generacije, a sada imamo privilegiju gledati i seriju na HBO. Kako bi još dodatno pokazali važnost i ljubav koju imaju prema ovom serijalu, odlučili su dizajnirati poseban DualSense koji je pun detalja vezanih uz The Last of Us Part I i The Last of Us Part II.
Kako bi saznali više o dizajnu i inspiraciji za ovaj kontroler, voditelj studija i kreativnog odjela Naughty Doga, Neil Druckmann i grafička dizajnerica u istom Megan Mehran su zajedno dali ovu izjavu:
Bili smo uzbuđeni zbog prilike da obilježimo franšizu The Last of Us s kontrolerom koji bi obožavatelji i naš tim voljeli koristiti. Željeli smo osigurati da oba dijela The Last of Us budu predstavljeni putem ikona koje su ispisane u crnom sjaju koji krasi kontroler. U svim tim ikonica, prepoznatljive i posebne su tri koje će odmah uočiti ljubitelji The Last of Us. To su naravno krijesnica, moljac i vuk. Igrači će prepoznati kultni logotip Firefliesa obojen sprejem koji je nastao u prvom dijelu. Dok moljac i vuk predstavljaju isprepletene živote Ellie i Abby u drugom dijelu.

The Last of Us DualSense kontroler će vas koštati 85 eura, a prednarudžbe započinju 14. ožujka. Kontroler službeno izlazi u prodaju 10. travnja, ali tu nije kraj vijestima. Naime, najavljeno je i kako The Last of Us Part II Remastered dolazi na PC putem Steama i Epic Gamesa 03. travnja. Za kraj, The Last of Us sezona dva izlazi 13. ožujka na HBO-u!
