Sony je odlučio proširiti svoj ekosustav, a ovoga puta najavljen je PlayStation Gaming Monitor, prvi monitor koji će nositi službeni PlayStation naziv. Trailer za ovaj monitor smo dobili na samom kraju japanskog State of Play, a uređaj je dizajniran za igranje i na PlayStation 5 konzolama, na PC-ju, te na Mac uređajima.
PlayStation Gaming Monitor ima 27-inčni QHD IPS zaslon s maksimalnom rezolucijom 2560×1440 piksela, HDR podršku i automatski HDR Tone Mapping. Na PC-ju će podržavati 240 Hz, dok će na PlayStation 5 i Pro konzolama raditi do 120 Hz uz Variable Refresh Rate (VRR). PlayStation Gaming Monitor ima nekoliko praktičnih dodataka, poput ugrađene kukice za punjenje DualSense i DualSense Edge kontrolera. Osim toga, monitor je boga s priključcima: dva HDMI 2.1, jedan DisplayPort 1.4, dva USB-A i jedan USB-C ulaz. Uređaj ima i ugrađene zvučnike, 3,5 mm audio izlaze, te VESA kompatibilnost za montažu na zid.
PlayStation Gaming Monitor bi trebao biti dostupan nekada u 2026. godini, ali točan datum i cijena još nisu poznati iako neki izvor tvrde da će koštati 350 dolara. Monitor će u početku biti dostupan samo u SAD-u i Japanu, a mi ćemo se očito načekati da PlayStation Gaming Monitor dođe na naše tržište.
