Dakle, Helldivers 2 je ostvario najbolji rezultat od svih dosadašnjih Sonyjevih naslova na Steamu i PC-u općenito.
Helldivers 2 trenutno ima skoro 82 tisuće istovremeno aktivnih igrača na Steamu. Taj rezultat mu je omogućio da preskoči Sonyjeve naslove kao što su God od War, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered i The Last of Us Part 1. Igra trenutno ima 62% pozitivnih ocjena, ali igrači joj već zamjeraju nekoliko stvari. Naime, najviše se žale na nestabilan match-making i na mikrotransakcije koje su u igri od prvog dana.
