Batman: City of Madness izaći će kasnije ove godine, a bit će horor film s oznakom R. Bili smo svjedoci nekoliko čudnih priča iz DC-a o Batmanu. Vidjeli smo najvećeg svjetskog detektiva u beskrajnoj borbi s njegovim najvećim neprijateljima, putovali smo mutliverzvumom, pa smo čak bili svjedoci Batmanovog sukoba s Drakulom.
Međutim, nova priča o Batmanu ima za cilj dovesti viteza tame i njegov voljeni Gotham City u svijet horora. Naravno film će biti rađen po istoimenom stripu pisca i umjetnika Christiana Warda.
Priča će odvesti Batmana u još jednu iskrivljenu verziju Gothama, koja postoji ispod grada. Ward ju opisuje kao “živu noćnu moru”, a to podzemno područje će biti naseljeno iskrivljenim stanovnicima Gothama. Tamo vlada mržnja i strah, te će to biti pravi izazov za Batmana. Prema stripu se Batman mora udružiti s Court Of Owls kako bi zaustavio prijetnju i spasio svoj grad.
Prvo izdanje Batman: City of Madness bit će objavljen 10. listopada ove godine.
