Iako i dalje čekamo na datum izlaska Silent Hill 2, ali sinoć je predstavljen novi trailer koji nas upoznaje s novim akcijskim segmentima igre. Gledajući ovaj trailer moram priznati da sa se malo razočarao, jer to sada dosta podsjeća na naslove kao što su Resident Evil ili The Last of Us. Neprijatelji bi trebali biti puno brži i agilniji nego što je to slučaj u originalu. Njihova sljepoća ih nije spriječila u tome da preskaču prepreke, što je pomalo neobično, no dobro.
Trailer prikazuje i quick time event koje ili volite ili su vam jako zamorni. Nećemo se moći izmicati neprijateljima u Silent Hill 2, već ćemo imati borbu s tipkicama na joysticku. Uspješno odrađeni quick time event će nam kao nagradu dati animaciju u kojoj James otresa neprijatelje sa sebe.
Reakcije nakon trailera su podijeljene, neki su oduševljeni, nekima se ne sviđa zvuk oružja, a neki se gade na činjenicu da će neprijatelji moći povraćati po nama. No, i dalje je većina igrača razočarana činjenicom da nemamo nikakav podatak o izlasku Still Hill 2.
