Vratimo se malo u prošlost, odnosno u 2023. godinu i dodjelu The Game Awards 2023., kada je SEGA objavila kako radi na pet novih igara. Nove igre su temeljene na klasičnim franšizama kao što su Golden Axe, Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Shinobi i Streets of Rage. Šest mjeseci kasnije (danas), pouzdani insajder Midori ima nekoliko novih informacija o toj temi.
Na X društvenoj mreži Midori je rekao kako je niz naslova koje nam treba dostaviti SEGA pomaknut za fiskalnu 2028. godinu. Tu spadaju naslovi temeljeni na Jet Set Radio i Crazy Taxi. Ovi naslovi bi dolazili u Unreal Engine 5. Midori još dodaje kako su remakeovi za Crazy Taxi i Jet Set Radio zapravo vrlo slični originalnim naslovima. No, naravno imat će neka poboljšanja, a jedno od njih će biti multiplayer za Crazy Taxi. Kozmetički DLC je također planiran i to za prvi dan izlaska igre.
Osim te dvije igre, Midori kaže da je Golden Axe prvotno bio planiran za 2023. godinu. Razvoj igre je toliko daleko dogurao da su bili napravljeni marketinški planovi za igru, ali onda su se očito svi planovi promijenili, jer igra i dalje nije službeno najavljena.
