Kroz prošlo desetljeće CS:GO-a vidjeli smo dosta dobrih i talentiranih igrača, no nagradu koju je potpuno zaslužio je uzeo S1mple.
Osim S1mpla na listi analitičara, povjesničara itd. su bili dev1ce, f0rest, karrigan, FalleN i coldzera. Međutim mislim da je svima jasno zašto je odabran S1mple. Svoju nagradu je svečano preuzeo na IEM Rio Majoru, a može se i početi govoriti da nakon ove nagrade S1mple je najbolji igrač CS:GO-a ikada.
Oleksandr “S1mple” Kostyliev započeo je svoju karijeru sa šeasnest godina i svoju prvu pobjedu je imao protiv Fnatica na Dreamhack Winteru. Za Navi je potpisao u 2016. godini.
ESL je uz ovu nagradu objavio kako će svake godine ( počevši od 2023. ) na IEM turnirima imati ceremonije i nagrade za:
Za najboljeg igrača glasat će top 100 igrača na ESL listi te godine, a sljedeće godine ceremonija će biti u Spodek Areni u Katowicama.
