Silent Hill se vraća na filmska planta početkom 2026. godine – točnije 23. siječnja 2026. Dugoočekivana filmska adaptacija igre Silent Hill 2, Return to Silent Hill, premijerno će biti prikazana u kinima diljem SAD-a, a ubrzo nakon toga i globalno.
Christophe Gans se vraća u ulozi režisera, a podsjećamo da je on zaslužan za film iz 2006. godine. Radnja prati Jamesa Sunderlanda, čiju je ulogu utjelovio Jeremy Irvine, koji prima tajanstveno pismo od svoje preminule supruge Mary (u izvedbi Hannah Emily Anderson). Pozvan u grad, James ulazi u mistični Silent Hill, zavijen u gustu maglu, gdje se suočava sa sablasnim prizorima i unutarnjim demonima. Film će naravno biti horor, a opisan je kao prava mala psihološki prepletena noćna mora.
Scenarij za Return to Silent Hill pisali su Gans, Sandra Vo-Anh i Will Schneider, dok je za glazbu odgovoran originalni autor, Akira Yamaoka.
