Jedna od najboljih Resident Evil igara, Resident Evil 2, dobila je neočekivanu platformu na koju će izaći kasnije ove godine. Uspjeh Resident Evil 2 Remakea je možda bio inspiracija za druge remakeove koji su uslijedili. Naime, lista remake naslova koji su izašli nakon RE2 Remakea je zapanjujuća, tu je naravno Dead Space, pa Alone in the Dark i naravno nedavno Silent Hill 2. Više od pet godina nakon izlaska remakea za Resident Evil 2, ovaj naslov dolazi na iPhone, iPad i Mac uređaje.
Doduše, neće svi iPhone uređaji moći pokrenuti Resident Evil 2, naime iPhone 15 Pro model je jedini, a što se iPad i Mac uređaja tiče, svi uređaji koje pokreće M1 čip ili jači, moći će zaigrati ovaj horor naslov. Iako igra izgleda vizualno impresivno za mobilni uređaj, vjerujem da kontrole nisu baš najbolje grupirane, a mogle bi čak i smetati igračima za vrijeme igranja.
Zanimljivo je kako snimke koje su objavljene na Apple Storeu ne prikazuju dodirne kontrole na zaslonu, vjerojatno iz očitih razloga. Bilo kako bilo, dolazak Resident Evil 2 na iPhone, iPad i Mac uređaje očekuje se 31. prosinca ove godine, ali cijena još nije poznata.
