Silent Hill 2 smo mogli gledati početkom ovog mjeseca na State of Playu. Odnosno, gledali smo trailer koji prikazuje akcijske sekvence koje će nam ovaj naslov nuditi. Iz Konamija nam nisu dali neke veće detalje kao što je datum izlaska, no poznato nam je kako je ovaj projekt u posljednjoj fazi razvoja.
Motoi Okamoto, producent ovog remakea, izjavio je u jednom intervjuu kako su zakoračili u posljednju fazu, te da nažalost ne smije ništa više odati. Dodao je kako se igra nije puno mijenjala, sve nam je poznato, samo ćemo svjedočiti puno ljepšim vizualnim efektima. Naravno da su već započele špekulacije oko samog perioda u kojem možemo očekivati Silent Hill 2. Najrealnije bi ga bilo očekivati na jesen 2024. godine, osim ako developeri ne odluče malo odgoditi izlazak kako bi ispolirali svoj projekt.
