Bivši članovi tima koji je radio na Prince of Persia migrirali su na jedan novi projekt, a riječ je o Rayman Remakeu. Ovaj remake se trenutno skriva pod kodnim imenom “Project Steambot”. Na njemu radi tim koji se prvenstveno nalazi u Ubisoft Milanu. Isti studio je izravno pridonio stvaranju velikog broja Ubisoftovih igara u razdoblju od dvadeset godina. Ono što treba napomenuti je da se Michel Ancel, kreator Raymana i drugih franšiza, nalazi na mjestu konzultanta. Ovo je izazvalo veliku zabrinutost među članovima tima, ponajviše zato što se Ancel našao uplete u debakl “toksičnog vodstva”, čiju je temu pokrenuo jedan francuski medij 2020. godine.
Nažalost, ta mini drama bila je dovoljna da fanovi serijala postanu skeptični, čak i ako je Ancel u ovaj projekt uključen samo kao konzultant. Procjenjuje se da je desetak programera iz raspuštenog Prince of Persia tima došlo raditi na Rayman Remake. S druge strane, preostali programeri su se okrenuli radu na Beyond Good & Evil 2 i sljedećem nastavku u Ghost Recon serijalu.
