Nakon puno godina moljakanja, tuge i žudnje za dobrim naslovom iz Silent Hill svemira, fanovi konačno mogu odahnuti, jer Silent Hill 2 Remake obećava! Prve recenzije su napisane i one su pozitivne i jako zadovoljne naslovom. Bloober Team, poljski studio koji stoji iza ove prerade, je odradio dobar posao jer je modernizirao ovaj psihološki horor na način dostojan ovog serijala.
Trenutno igra ima jako dobar prosjek ocjena na Metacriticu, nakon 49 recenzija prosjek je 87. Iako Silent Hill 2 Remake nije upao u “klub 90+”, treba napomenuti kako ni originalni naslov na PlayStation 2 nije bio u tom klubu već joj je prosjek bio 89. Nije sve u veličini… prosječne ocjene kritičara!
Šalu na stranu, recenzije hvale prezentaciju koja je ostala vjerna originalu, a neke čak hvale i novi sustav borbe. Posebno napominjem taj sustav borbe jer su mnogi portali, pa tako i mi, bili previše skeptični oko njega, a razlog tome je konkurent Resident Evil. To je serijal koji je uvijek bio više posvećen borbi, dok se Silent Hill oslanjao na elemente psihološkog horora.
