Iako je nedavno odgođen Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, iz Ubisofta su poručili kako je povratak perzijskog princa blizu. Dolazi nam potpuno nova igra, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, i nije uopće ono što smo očekivali. Naime, igra će biti akcijski 2D platformer, a igru razvija studio zadužen za naslove kao što su Rayman Origins i Legends.
Ukratko priča igre će pratiti perzijskog ratnika Sargona, koji će istraživati regiju Mount Qaf u potrazi za nestalim princom Ghassasnom. Igra će nas voditi kroz razne regije gdje ćemo se susretati s raznim mitskim bićima. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown bi trebali zaigrati početkom iduće godine, odnosno 18.01., no više detalja vezanih uz ovaj naslov dobit ćemo na nadolazećoj Ubisoft Forward prezentaciji 11.06.
