Ovaj trailer se nadovezuje s drugim live-action trailerom iz 1993. koji se zvao “Mortal Monday“. Novi trailer prikazuje Bautistu kako hoda uokolo i uvjerava ljude da se pridruže borbi.
Ovaj trailer se zove “It’s In Our Blood”, a režirao ga je redatelj reklama Tom Kuntz. Dok je kamerman bio Matthew Libatique poznat po tome što je snimao film koji je nominiran za Oscara, Zvijezda je rođena. Trailer završava scenom gdje se veliki broj ljudi skupio i svi viču “Mortal Kombat”.
