Tjednima se šuškalo, nagađalo i prepričavalo po Redditu i drugim društvenim mrežama – hoće li se Leon S. Kennedy pojaviti u Resident Evil Requiemu ili ne? Nakon gomile leakova, sve glasine je slučajno potvrdio PlayStation Store.
Leon je jedan od najprepoznatljivijih likova u Resident Evil franšizi. Od debija u Resident Evilu 2, Kennedy je postao simbol serijala jednako kao i zombi apokalipse u kojima se redovito pronađe. Budući da nas Requiem ponovno vraća u Raccoon City, nameće se logično pitanje: Može li igra smještena u Raccoon City proći bez Leona? Neke glasine sam pokrivao i na portalu, ali veliku većinu nisam jer ih je uistinu bilo previše.
E sada, kupite li Resident Evil Requiem preko PlayStation Storea, uz informacije o izdanju i datumu izlaska pojavit će se i službeni vizual igre. Na njemu je jasno istaknuta glavna protagonistkinja Grace Ashcroft, ali u pozadini se vidi ogroman lik Leon Kennedyja. Dakle, s obzirom na to da je Leon na key artu, sigurno će se pojaviti i u samoj igri, nema tu puno filozofije. Mislim da je Dusk Golemu konačno laknulo, jer se ovaj leaker posljednjih nekoliko mjeseci pričao o tome da je Leon S. Kennedy dio Resident Evil Requiema.
Iako prisutnost lika na vizualu gotovo pa jamči njegov povratak, nije potvrđeno da će Leon biti igriv lik u Requiemu. Capcom je zasad vrlo tih po tom pitanju. Vjerujem da ćemo sve odgovore na naša pitanja dobiti ovog petka za vrijeme The Game Awardsa.
