Kako ga nazivaju u Sonyu, Welcome Hub je skup widgeta koje će te moći postaviti na početni zaslon vaše konzole. Također dolazi mogućnost postavljanje pozadine po želji, to može biti neka od animiranih pozadina koje nudi PlayStation ili neki dobar screenshot kojeg ste uhvatili u vama omiljenoj igri. Teme u smislu onih koje smo imali na PlayStationu 4 i dalje nisu predmet zanimanja za ekipu iz Sonya.
Widgeti vam nude razne opcije pa tako neki od njih pokazuje online prijatelje, aktivne promocije u PlayStation Storeu, napunjenost baterije kod povezanih uređaja itd. Zgodni dodaci koje za sada mogu koristiti samo gameri u SAD-u. Zapravo cijeli Welcome Hub za sada je dostupan samo preko bare, ali nećemo predugo čekati. Već u narednim tjednima biti će dostupan i nama.
