Netflix je službeno otkrio prve detalje dugoiščekivanog Peaky Blinders filma koji sada nosi službeni naslov Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. Film stiže u odabrana kina 6. ožujka 2026., dok će globalna Netflix premijera uslijediti 20. ožujka iste godine. Objavljen je i prvi teaser poster koji najavljuje povratak jednog od najikoničnijih televizijskih likova posljednjeg desetljeća – Tommyja Shelbyja.
Film režira Tom Harper, dok je scenarij napisao tvorac serije Steven Knight. Cillian Murphy ponovno preuzima ulogu Tommyja Shelbyja, vođe Birminghamove bande. Uz Murphyja, u filmu glume i poznata imena poput Rebecce Ferguson, Tima Rotha, Barryja Keoghana, Sophie Rundle, te Stephena Grahama. Ulogama se vraćaju i brojni veterani serije uključujući Neda Dennehyja, Packyja Leeja i Iana Pecka.
Službeni sinopsis kaže: “Birmingham, 1940. usred kaosa Drugog svjetskog rata, Tommy Shelby se vraća iz samonametnutog egzila kako bi se suočio s najrazornijim obračunom do sada. S budućnošću obitelji i zemlje na kocki, Tommy mora odlučiti hoće li se suočiti sa svojom ostavštinom ili će je spaliti do temelja.”
Film će direktno nastaviti graditi Shelbyjevu priču tamo gdje je serija stala, ali i otvoriti vrata budućim projektima. U listopadu je potvrđeno da Netflix i BBC razvijaju dvije nove šesterodijelne serije koje će pratiti događaje nakon filma, počevši od 1953. godine. I u tim projektima Cillian Murphy sudjeluje kao izvršni producent.
