Miniserija od tri epizode zove se Genesis. Naslov i trailer nam sugeriraju da će se ona fokusirati na rane dane Overwatch grupe. Koja je morala biti osnovana kako bi branila ljude u globalnom ratu protiv robota. Neke scene prikazuju ljude koji žive s robotima u harmoniji, prije nego što se AI pobunio.
