PlayStation je danas potvrdio detalje i datum izlaska za Freedom’s Flame Warbond koji u Helldivers 2 dolazi 8. kolovoza ove godine. Freedom’s Flame će dodati nove skinove kao i niz nove opreme u Helldivers 2. Sačmarica SG-451 Cookout, bacač plamena FLAM-66 Torcher i P-72 Crisper su nova oružja koja će igrači moći koristiti. Osim oružja, igrači će imati priliku pronaći novi oklop I-09 Heatseeker i I-102 Draconaught. Oni uvode novu pasivnu sposobnost koja će pomoći igračima, a to je 75% otpornost na štetu od vatre.
Najnoviji Helldivers 2 Warbond bio je Viper Commandos, koji je izašao u lipnju 2024. godine. Iz Arrowhead Game Studiosa su također otkrili planove za usporavanje tempa kojim izbacuju Warbond izdanja. Programeri su objasnili da žele početi izbacivati Warbonds ažuriranja koja su uglađena. Prije samo nekoliko tjedana, Arrowhead je morao ubaciti hitni popravak koji je pomogao igračima s drop-in glitchom.
