Nikola “NiKo” Kovač je u posljednjih par dana bio najveća tema u Cs2 Esportu. Pričalo se kako je već dogovoren i spreman njegov transfer u Falcons ali su se on i G2 javili javnosti i rekli da on ne odlazi nigdje.
“I stay” rekao je NiKo na twitteru što je iznenadilo apsolutno sve koji su mislili da će preći u Falcons. G2 je čak i napravio video kroz koji su se zahvalili NiKi što je odlučio ostati u G2 čak iako je Falcons nudio puno veću plaću. Svi su mislili da će NiKo napustiti G2 jer su oni i sami rekli da nemaju novaca da ponude NiKi isti ugovor kao što je do sada imao. Međutim čini se da je NiKo odabrao strast prije novca.
Ovo onda definitivno znači da ni Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov neće napustiti ekipu. M0NESY je trebao u Falcons preći skupa s NiKom, no čini se da će sada obojica nastaviti svoju karijeru u G2 gdje se oboje osjećaju kao kod kuće.
G2 se trenutno na HLTV listi nalazi na 3. mjestu i za mjesec dana će zaigrati na Blast World Finals.
