Prateći Minecraft tradiciju, sadržaj koji će biti dodan u ovom ažuriranju će biti povezan sa samim imenom, Trails And Tales. Slično kao u Caves And Cliffs, u kojem smo dobili nove vodene špilje i naravno nove vrste blokova. S obzirom na to da u Trails And Tales dolaze deve, developeri nam poručuju kako s njima trebamo krenuti u nove avanture koje nam ovo ažuriranje donosi. Njegova biti je zapravo da igrači puno više vremena provedu istražujući Minecraft svijet, a ne gradeći ili kopajući.
Sniffer je također nova stvar, odnosno pasivni mob, koji će biti dodan u Trails And Talesu, a boravit će u pustinjskom biomu. No, očekuje nas i novi biom, Cherry Blossom, u kojem ćemo moći skupljati i graditi rozim drvetom. Za kraj, Trails And Tales nam donosi još jednu novinu, a to su trimovi za oklope. Trim će se moći pronaći u chestovima, a služi kao detalj od drugog materijala na našem oklopu.
