Film produciraju Bobby Cohen i Alex Kurtzman te predstavlja treći nastavak u filmskoj franšizi Now You See Me, nakon filmova Now You See Me (2013) i Now You See Me 2 (2016).
Uloge tumače povratnički glumci Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher i Morgan Freeman, uz nove članove postave: Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt i Rosamund Pike. Značajno je da je ovo prvi film u serijalu koji ne uključuje Marka Ruffala ni Michaela Cainea.
