Baziran na istoimenom romanu iz 1979. godine, The Long Walk prati Raymonda Garratyja, 16-godišnjaka koji se prijavljuje na brutalno natjecanje u kojem 100 tinejdžera mora hodati bez prestanka – bez stajanja, bez spavanja, pod strogim pravilima. Redatelj The Long Walka je Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend, Constantine), dok je za scenarij zadužen JT Mollner (Strange Darling).
