Samo mjesec dana uoči premijere, FX je objavio novi trailer za nadolazeću televizijsku seriju Alien: Earth, prvu igranu adaptaciju kultne filmske franšize Alien namijenjenu malim ekranima. Seriju potpisuje nagrađivani autor Noah Hawley (Fargo, Legion), a premijera je zakazana za 12. kolovoza 2025. u 20 sati na kanalima FX i Hulu u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama, dok će međunarodna distribucija biti osigurana putem Disney+ servisa.
Prve dvije epizode bit će emitirane istovremeno, dok će se preostali nastavci prikazivati jednom tjedno, svakog utorka do 23. rujna. Radnja serije Alien: Earth smještena je u 2120. godinu, vremenski prije događaja iz originalnog filma Alien. U središtu priče nalazi se svemirska letjelica zadužena za prikupljanje bića s najmračnijih kutaka svemira, koja se nesretnim slučajem ruši na Zemlju. Među bićima nalazi se i legendarni Xenomorph, no trailer jasno daje naslutiti kako on neće biti jedina prijetnja s kojom će se likovi morati suočiti.
Glavnu ulogu tumači Sydney Chandler (Don’t Worry Darling), a pridružuje joj se međunarodna glumačka postava koju čine: Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille i Moe Bar-El.
