Za vrijeme The Game Awards konačno smo dobili informacije za novi nastavak Tomb Raider serijala – Tomb Raider: Catalyst stiže 2027. godine! Osim njega, najavljen je i Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis koji služi kao potpuni remake originalnog Tomb Raidera iz 1996. godine.
Tomb Raider: Catalyst nas vodi u Indiju gdje će Lara Croft istraživati drevne misterije i suočiti se s potpuno novim neprijateljem. U traileru vidimo Laru u klasičnom izdanju – brze akrobacije, dvostruki pištolji i borba protiv misteriozne sile koja očito ima veze s lokalnim mitovima. Vizualno izgleda impresivno, a čini se da Tomb Raider: Catalyst ide više u smjeru akcije, no i dalje zadržava onaj prepoznatljivi arheološki duh serijala.
Ovo je prvi veliki Tomb Raider od Shadow of the Tomb Raidera iz 2018., pa ne čudi što su fanovi oduševljeni povratkom. Ovdje nije kraj dobrim vijestima za fanove Lare Croft jer Crystal Dynamics razvija igru u suradnji s Amazonom, koji će biti izdavač za ovaj naslov, a paralelno pripremaju i Tomb Raider live-action seriju. Snimanje serije kreće početkom 2026. godine, a Sophie Turner utjelovit će lik Lare Croft.
