Internetom kruže glasine da će sljedeća Sonyjeva prezentacije biti State of Play, a ne PlayStation Showcase, te da ćemo istu gledati već u lipnju. Iako za sada još ništa nije službeno potvrđeno, ovu glasinu prenosi Jeff Grubb, novinar GiantBomba koji je jako pouzdan. Osim toga, datum prezentacije također nije poznat, a Sonyju na ruku nikako ne ide Xboxova prezentacija 8. lipnja. Uz to, Summer Game Fest je zakazan za 6. lipnja, što bi značilo da će mjesec lipanj biti jako dobar za gaming zajednicu.
Osobno nisam siguran što možemo očekivati na ovoj prezentaciji, na društvenim mrežama se ljudi nadaju nekakvom prikazu Marvel’s Wolverine ili pak Phantom Blade Zero. Ponovno ponavljam ovo je State of Play, a ne Showcase tako da mislim kako od ovoga neće biti ništa. Vjerujem da ćemo dobiti nekakav trailer za Ghost of Yotei ili nešto u tom smjeru.
Bilo kako bilo, šesti mjesec će biti pun novih vijesti s kojima ćemo ući u drugu polovicu 2025. godine. Ali, moram reći kako je zabrinjavajuće da je u skoro pet godina, Sony imao samo dvije velike PlayStation Showcase prezentacije.
