Xbox nam je predstavio svoju novu stratešku igru Ara: History Untold koja bi trebala evoluirati strateški žanr.
Na ovoj igri radi razvojni studio Oxide Games, te su ispričali nam dosta toga o igri. Igra će biti dostupna samo za PC igrače. Developeri su prvo s igrom planirali napraviti boardgame naslov, no na kraju su napravili virtualnu verziju.
Ova igra nebi trebala imati “optimalne strategije” za brzi put do uspjeha. To znači da nećete moći guglat “Kako brzo razviti svoju ekonomiju, vojsku itd.” nego ćete to morati sve sami i polako razvijati. Ara vas tjera da se koristite elementom nepredvidivosti kao i razvojem tehnologije sve u svemu slično kao i u “Civilization” naslovima.
Igra će koristiti sustav aktova, svaki akt će biti podijeljen u tri dijela, a vaš je cilj u svakoj fazi skupiti dovoljno prestižnih bodova. Ukoliko ne skupite dovoljno bodova, nećete moći napredovati u sljedeći akt, te se vraćate na početak trenutnog akta.
